Cracking/Scaley paint, Chicken scratches, little chips. How bad is it?
Hey guys, any Auto detailing Gurus got some advice for me here, I already definitely need to go to town with polish, but there are some major problem areas which Im not so sure will buff out.
Chicken scratches on front left fender
Paint chip hanging on for dear life on rear end
Rock chip, rust visible, definitely wont buff out
Orange peel? Snake skin? Whatever you want to call it, It sucks.
Im hoping some of it is atleast salvageable. (The chips on the rear definitely arent). But if anyone has some advice Id greatly appreciate it. I dont want to have to repaint the whole car, and I know paint matching is going to be a nightmare as the PO put on a purple pearlcoat over the factory black.

Looks like a bunch of shrinkage. Unfortunately only way to fix it is a repaint. If it is only in a few spots, you might get away with a good blend by a quality painter.
What year is the car though? Wondering if it’s SS or BC/CC. I have been able to remove some deep scratches from SS.
