Corksport MS replica lip for the FC *fitament w/pics*
I got my Corksport MS lip about a month ago. For those who don't know, this is a replica of the Mazdaspeed lip. For $199 it is hard to beat the price. With shipping and WA sales tax the total damage was $252. I received the lip 2 business days after ordering. Big ups to Corksport on shipping it out right away. It came undamaged and with better installation instructions than I was expecting.
According the website (http://www.corksport.com/corksport-m...p-spoiler.html) the lip is made of "hand-laid FRP". Fiberglass. That is my best description. Overall the construction is very good. Solid piece with no visibal flaws or defects. Comes predrilled for direct fit.
So how does it fit? For me this took awhile to figure out. I had to first get my front bumper to fit right. The prior owner had installed a Greddy FMIC kit and had not cut out the proper amount of the front bumper for it to fit correctly. I realized this after trying to fit the lip on and nothing lined up right. After a brief panic thinking that I bought a crappy fitting lip I inspected closer and saw the issues with the bumper. After hours of detailed triming of the front bumper I was ready for installation.
Holy cow! This thing fit nearly perfect. I now have all my body pieces. I am geeking about about it and now ready to primer the rest of the car & lip. Final paint will hopefully happen in the near future as well.

looks good! ive been wanting to get one for the longest time!!
i almost had my hands on one for a good price but due to stupid fc owners on EBAY, who dont know you can get it cheaper than $370!!! from CS, they decided to **** up my bid price and i lost =[
$250 isnt that bad for overall cost

nice i've been thinking about getting this one or the other lip corksport has (the odura style lip) and i really like how it seems to force much more air up and into the radiator/intercooler.

Thanks guys. It is the only lip for the FC that I have ever liked enough to put on one of my own cars. My car isn't super low currently but I am still worried about how forward it sit for issues with scraping steep driveways. Only one way to find out I guess.

Sorry to bump a seriously old thread. But I'm wondering how the side fitment was ? I could only get the middle and one side bolts up. The other side had about 1.5 inch gap.
Any thoughts ? Also some holes don't line up. Would having some seized screws stuck from the OEM lip affect fitment ? I had to pull the old lip off because I couldn't get the screw out.
