polish tail lights

go to http://www.eastwoodco.com

BUFF COMPOUND PLASTIC 13 OZ TUBE
Item-no 13138

Ideal for taillight refinishing. Great for color action and removing scratches from plastic which require a special compound. Use care to avoid heat buildup. Use with Loose Section, Canton Flannel, and String Buffs.

I used it on my 3rd gen tail light housing, it does a great job removing fine scratches and polishing.

Meguiars makes a plastic cleaner\polish which works very well. I think you can get it at PepBoys

I "heard" that using acetone on a paper towel works to get rid of yellowing, but I would be berry, berry careful or you may have a lense full of paper!

nail polish remover with acetone will 'clean up' dirty plastic, just like RonKMiller said... just make sure that you take the lights off the car before you do it, it will eat thru the clearcoat and paint on the car. and we don't want that now do we.

Plexus works well....

3M rubbing compound works well also..

Its so easy to do and makes a big difference for the yellowing that comes from time!
