Carpet from NSX Carpet

Has anyone ordered the carpet from NSX Carpet?

how does it compare to the OEM Carpet?

any issues installing?

I still have my OEM Carpet and it’s in pretty decent shape but I am buying everything new that I can for this build and would like to have fresh carpet.

Nothing is going to fit as good as OEM. If your OEM carpet is in good shape, pull it and take it to a good detailer for a quality cleaning job.

I have an NSX carpets kit in my car because I needed to cut carpet for a roll bar and I did not want to ruin my OEM LHD carpet. I salvaged foam backing from a JDM carpet cut to use underneath the front of the NSX kit. Like others, I had excess under the heater box so I trimmed the kit down the center there towards the shifter. It turned out nicely and looks good, the shape, however, is not an excellent match to OEM. My seat bolt covers will not stay on, even with minor trimming, because the front seat bolt divots are not molded in.

Whatever you do, if you install an aftermarket kit, remove the OEM foam backing from a donor carpet and use it in the front cabin area.
