new carpet =)

whatsup everyone, im in the process of putting in some carpet, something i havent had in my fc for years. i got all the seats and stuff out and have it placed pretty smoothly but now where the foot pedals are i dont know how to keep that part of the carpet from folding up and blocking my accelerator pedal. there are no holes to put plugs in to hold it down and i dont think spray adhesive will be that effective but i havent used that yet except on the foam im using as a silencer lol. anyone have any suggestions.

thanks =)

is it OEM carpet? if so, you should be able to slide it right up to the firewall. if not, good luck.

Spray adhesive might indeed do the trick. What you're dealing with is the carpets "memory" of how it laid while it was in storage. You just need the adhesive to last long enough for the carpet to relearn it's memory.
