C west lights

Anyone have any problems installing the C West light conversion? Is the wiring difficult? How does it look compared to the other kits on the car?

its really easy. took me about an hour. The fiberglass/carbon fiber pieces and screws etc are all made to fit really nice. The only relatively difficult part is wiring. They come with just two plain old fog lights out of the box. this means you just cut your wiring harness that was going to your headlights, figure out which wires activate regular vs. bright lights, then connect to parking lights.

There are many combinations you can have. If you connect it so that on a normal headlight setting, both lights come on, they both wont be as bright (cause they are blinding bright) and it looks really cool. Then for brights, just have the wiring only go to one of them.

You don't even have to cut into the factory harness. Just soldier the grounds of the 2 foglights together and put spade terminals on the ends. Plug the 3 spade terminals into the stock connector and your all set.

yes, that works too. i was lazy and just wanted to connect them quick on mine. Plus, i changed around the configuration of when the lights come on. I had to cut my harnesses to do that.

i would wire them normally and then do this mod http://www.lighter.net/technical/7quadlamps.html

having all of them on normally seems like the worst thing you could possibly do. other drivers get extra glare and you get less road lighting.

i have male H4 plugs i can sell you guys if you want a plug in install but they cost $10 each
