racing seats in 3rd gen

anyone have Cobra seats in their car or something similiar? How do they fit? Do they make you sit up higher?

i've heard that alot of after market seats dont fit because the FD uses really thin seats, but i might be wrong. They might fit.
Try doin a search.

i have sparco roadsters in my fd. They rub against the door. I am probably going to have to trim them

I've got a pair of corbeau seats and they also rub against the door, but they make up for it by looking sick. Also corbeau makes brackets for the fd so i didn't have to fabricate anything, the sliped right in.

Yeah - at $7000 for a pair they should be

Any aftermarket *adjustable* seat will sit up higher than stock, but you get used to it pretty quickly

Thats wrong, the Mazdaspeeds sit lower, not by much, but it's noticable.
