too much for my tastes, but certainly should look nice when you are done. some type of wheels that aren't stock would also do wonders

I like that kit, I'm looking for a kit for my self right now. Yo how many chips did that kit set you back?

 

I can say that the bomex kit fit perfectly. Ive had the kit for over a year and a half. I just sold it actually, but loved the front styling, which looked alot like the rx rx7.

It set me back more than it should of. I bought it when Bomex had higher prices. It was around $1254 for the full kit when i bought it. But now they sell the full kit for $716. I dunno why the sudden major price drop. Maybe they are comin out with new stuff.

personally i like kits that accent rather than change, but i like the looks of the kit, just hope you don't put on any bigger of a spoiler

 

I agree. The front bumper is too busy, too many different lines. I don't think I have ever seen a Bomex kit for any car that I liked.

 

I still find it funny that the rz was a bumper designed by mazda and is almost identical, yes its called busy. Mazda must have done it that way for a reason

 

What's this "RZ" bumper? If you're referring to the latest version of the bumper after 98, I think you'd better look at it again.

 

No i plan on keepin that spoiler. Some of my firends tryed to talk me into the C-West carbon fiber. But i am gonna stick with this one.

Why don't you just go away man! You made your point on how limited your taste is when he posted in the FD section. Grow up and leave him alone. Your acting like a freakin child following him around, antagonizing him, waiting for a response so you can flame on him with Jimlab. ...That said you are entitled to your opinion and you made it VERY clear in the other thread that you didn't like the kit. Why do you feel it's needed to come in here and tell him again? Do you think he didn't here you the first 800 times! NOW Back on topic,... IMO: The front of the kit has too many little fins on it. Other than that i like the front. The sides i am not into all that much at first glance.Are you going to mold them in? I'll get back to you on the rear....See how easy that was, no bashing him telling him he is turning the car he loves into a pile of ****!! I personally think a bone stock FD looks like ****. I don't like when people ask what year is that miata? If you like it SpoolinRX , then keep on track and make your car look how YOU want it. Not Kyle. I'll go back to my corner now..

Oh yeah i dont know about molding yet. I am gonna see how it looks first. When it gets all the way prefitted, still gotta do a little fine tunning. I wanna be able to put the car back to stock easily, just in case i wanna sell it or change the body kit. I am already havin second thoughts.

 

Are you sticking with Red?I think the front bumper will probably calm down a bit once it matches the rest of the car. And if the sides get molded it would help ease the transitions.IMO of course!!

 

Yeah i am stickin with red. I am gonna go with the darker of two factory paint variances. I am gonna paint the whole car, gettin a little faded.

Check this out and see if you like the kit a little better now that i removed the front fins, Now that i did that, i can see what teamafx is talkin about when he says it kinda looks like the RZ style front end. With the lip of course.
