You have to cut the shifter about 1/4 inch..

If you want a lighted one (5sp).. John in Bham has one forsale.. He's selling it cheaper than what he paid from me

From the weights I took, the New Mazdaspeed was a few ounces lighter then the Old worn oem shift ****. Its just a different design with Mazdaspeed embossed on it.
