I think A'Pexi has somethin like that on the AVC-R and that other digital thing they make (not the safc...) the one that gives you engine info...

I am just curious why one would need to have such specific rpm readings? (No sarcasm)

Actually, I would think at a quick glance an analog reading is much more easier (The single Number closest to the needle) to read than a four digit number that is constantly changing even in the short period of your glance. Maybe that's just me.

exactly and in a short glance you can know what rpm the car is at by only the angle of the tach needle with the stock ones.... i prefer stock

Digital tachos are absolutely useless. Rapidly changing values like rpm and boost should always be displayed on a proper scaled anologue display. This allows to to see how fast it's changing, something very difficult to see with a digital display.

Besides, that thing is fugly...

^ I agree completely, the look of a digital gauge looks cheap IMO, i would rather see a needle bouncing around as i tap the gas rather then a bunch of lights shooting numbers out. if you cant read the stock tach by just taking a glance at it .... ur an idiot

It's just um.....ugly and really Not needed if you're staying within the stock Tach range.
