My driver side speaker is dead and one of my rear speakers starts cracking and vibrating badly if I ever turn up the volume more then 20%.. So I plan to replace the whole system. I'm not a "audiophile" so I'm not looking for some crazy system with subs and all the fancy lights. My center speaker is disconnected because I have my gauge pod in its place. Anyways I don't know exactly how everything works but I did some research and I just need to know if my planned setup will work. I want to use a Nakamichi CD400 and power 2 rear cheapo 4ohm speakers using the headunits internal amp.. and then get some component speakers 2ohm for the fronts powered by a bouston acoustic gt20.. now is there a flaw in this setup?
