audio selection suggestions?

looking at components, 100-120 range. looking at the following so far. pretty set on mb quart or alpine R's, would like opinions/suggestions. running alpine9825 headunit, final setup would possibly be components, one pair coaxials, one sub.

-alpine S 6x8, 6.5
-alpine R 5.25
-infinity reference 5.25, 6.5, 6x8
-mb quart DSD 5.25
-kicker 5.25, 6x8
-rockford 6.5 FNP

(listen to rock/indie mostly, going in FB)

decent setup, $500 more and you would be alot happier and have a lot better sounding car. Alpine products are top notch, but their lower grade is a little shaky, I personally wont buy any alpine speakers after my expirence with their type x comps, but thats just my opinion. The mb quart reference stuff is cheap, and so is the focal entry stuff, rainbow would be another good option. GO to speedsound.com for osme good choices. Out of the ones listed I would go with the quarts or the infinity, the inifinity perfects are really nice comps, but are around $220. Anyways, as car audio goes YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. And for a really good sub, i would go with re audio sx its about 175 shipped, best bang for the buck.
