Audio Installation

ive been trying to decide on a car audio installation for a couple of weeks now and i think i finally have it...im running 2 kenwood amps with 2 12" kenwood subs....my question is will my stock alternator work well with 2 amps....also i have a power invertor for my ps2 and monitor......so with this all installed will my battery always drain or should i purchase 1 or 2 capacitors......if i do get a capacitor im looking at a 1.25 farad capacitor.....any help is appreciated and i will have pics of the install once finished...thanks....parker

A capacitor will do nothing for you. A capacitor of any size only supplies current in very short "bursts" when needed during high transients. If the battery and alternator are not supplying enough current for the system adding a cap will do nothing.

All that said I think in your situation you are fine.

should should get one of those hi output alts. which are not cheap but would work. OR you can ghetto rig another alt into the works.
