After searching the forums, people seem to recommend fatmat as a good, relatively cheap option for sound deadening. For people who have installed it, I just have a few questions:
1. does it smell bad (like asphalt)?
2. ever have any problems with the mats falling off/melting?
3. would you use fatmat again if you had the option?

i used it, great price and proudct. Doesnt smell at all, make sure you install it on a HOT day or use a heat gun, this will make it stick alot better.
