there was a guy who did that a while back ago on his eclipse with the mitsubishi logo. i remember seeing it in a magazine and thinking it was kinda cool. I dont hink that i would personally do it though.
I've never been a fan of any sort of clear/plexiglass hoods. If you want to be able to see into the engine bay why not have holes there instead of plexiglass. Then you are also helping with engine heat. I think the "M" logo would look better as a hole with mesh screen behind it than done in plexiglass. Just my .02 though

The only problem is, the heat would cloud the plexiglass, and simple wind turbulance would scratch it up.
And, your engine better look phenomenal if you are going to do something like that.
Unless you wanted to have two hoods, one for driving, one for shows, the plexi sections would have to be removable... Then, you're looking at sealing issues to keep out water.

I remember seeing that about 8 years ago from some guy who had a '90 Civic hatchback. He had the "H" logo in plexiglass on the hood. This was at one of those Import car shows.
