Anyone test fit the F1 Spec Gias seats in a FD?

I talked to the guy from F1 Spec and asked him if the F1 Spec "Bride" look a like seat fits into the FD and he said:

"they will fit, these seats can fit s2000's so they should fit your car."

I went ahead and purchased the driver seat for $450 shipped + $150 for the bracket for FD to see how it fits.

Anyone every test fit this seat in the FD? The dimensions are very close to the Memory Fab reclineable seats.

The most critical area for fd fitment is the shoulder area, with a span of 22" they should fit just fine.

What is the maximum span that will fit inside a FD without hitting the door panel?

These are the same seats I plan to purchase. I saw these seats at HIN and they look fanstastic in person.

Please update this thread once you've fitted the seats. I want to know if they'll actually fit.

Please post a pic when you have it in your car. I'm really interested to see one in an FC, but in and FD will work too.

I don't think there's a set of rails for that seat in an FC, guess the only way is to send them to a shop and have them make new holes and weld new supports to accommodate the rails.

My seats won't be shipped until Monday July 2nd because F1spec is waiting on the Bride brackets to go along with the seats so I won't see the seats until sometime end of next week
