I just can't understand why someone would do this to a car like the 7...if you wanted to build a car that was based on the rx7 or customize the car like many of us do then thats cool..but to start from the frame and retain nothing but a rotary engine and the seats? i can think of a few other cars that the world wouldn't mind being rid of.

yes, it did get my attention, the same way a mangled dog on the side of the road does...was that the goal? coulds just put a caddy on 36s and got the same look from me with less time and money invested...and without destroying a good car

Its just so that the owner can show you that he/she/it has so much extra money that they can afford to blow it on ruining a classic japanese super car in a way that 99% of the fan base will hate. Some people are just sadistic twisted bastards.

I think scoot was the first tuning house to use the Cedric rear end, I actually didn't mind it too much, plus it had this:
The tamon designs car is just WAY overdone, imo

I never said dont do it, I said why...if I cant post something likevthis...then please dnt ever voice your opinion on the bodykit, hood, bumper or color choice of anyone elses car, because its their not yours. Thanks, bye.
Also, the more these 7s get destroyed, the harder and more expensive the parts get for them. And that affects MY cars.
Cheers

Sorry i had too! in all good fun! I just found it funny that even "13b" guys were hating on this car's engine bay with the OG powerplant. (which i actually thought looked nice) Keeping in mind, -IF- i started doing meth and going back to rotary was a GREAT idea in some way shape or form... I could unbolt my custom Ls engine cradle and bolt up a OEM mazda rotary engine cradle and convert back STILL with no "chopping" or unchopping involved.
where im going with this is: People are gonna hate no matter if powered by the OEM triangle engine or heavy heavy running chevy. Just do what you like and what makes the most sense to you... AND dont let forum trolls dictate your decisions or feelings! LMFAO! Hell i was the 4th man to purchase one of hinson's LS swap kits and despite all the hate i am HAPPY AS ****! I didnt let others drag me down to their level and i did what i thought was right for me. - i chose wisely and i dont care if someone hates, im totally happy! Afterall, from 2003 or w/e it was when i made the decision, how many Ls/rx7's have evolved and are running consistantly since? A LOT. teehee
