Anyone ever get a hood from Aerokits.net?

I'm about to install my VMIC and myself and Str8tryd have tried to find someone to make a hood similar to the one on the Twins Turbo FD but no one wants to make it, so I'm taking it upon myself to find a hood that's similar and have a shop modify it. I've been thinking about getting a fiberglass MS replica hood, this one to be exact...

It's a good price and I've heard that fiberglass is easier to work with than CF when it comes to modifying it. Not sure if that's true, just what I've heard. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten a hood from Aerokits.net and can testify to their fitment.

I found someone that's willing to take on this project. The cost is the only determining factor though. I think it's going to be EXPENSIVE!

I was planning on starting with a stock hood and modifying that and then possibly laying CF over it. We'll see what happens.

Yeah let me know Riz. I won't need CF overlay though. I might just go ahead and get one of these hoods and see what happens, how much it costs and all that. The one thing I like about this is that the shape is already kinda laid out, the beginning holes are there already and the little lip on the front is there already, basically making the work that much easier. Although I'm still concerned about fitment, cause if THAT is off the rest doesn't matter lol. But lemme know what happens on your end regardless and I'll keep you informed too.

I definitely will. At the least I'll try to make one and let you know how much it'll be for another. I might also decide to produce them if the hoods turn out well. Either case you've been there all along so you'll pay what I pay.
