Anybody have one of the no-name carbon fiber hoods you can get on ebay?

I'm thinking about ressurrecting my FD to a drive a couple of times a month (potentially once a week) car rather than the four-times-a-year deal... Unfortunately she's been sitting under a giant oak tree (under two car covers) which shed tons of acorns last year and now has a bunch of dings on the hood (as well as the rest of the car). I'm playing around with the idea of getting some bodywork and paint done. Rather than repair the hood I'm also playing around with the idea of a carbon fiber hood instead. I see that there are a bunch available on ebay. Does anybody know whether or not these no-name hoods look/fit well?

Thanks!

Don't do it. Remember; you get what you pay for.

I too have been wondering how the fitment is.....

After searching many of the ppl selling body parts including hoods have small print where they say the part will likely need to be altered.

These people/companies seem to have a fair bit of negative response to the products they sell.

I did however find Carbon Innovation to have a better rating. Also they guarantee that the parts will fit.

For those that have purchased from flea bay have you tried this guy?

OK, I'll stay away from ebay and the no-name hoods. Next cheapest would be a VIS OEM style hood. Anybody have any experience with those?

Thanks!

Anyone ever heard of BMagic before? I'm considering one of their hoods for my FC and was wondering if anyone had experience with them before. Here's the one I had in mind http://www.aitracing.com/index.php?m...oducts_id=1403
