I'm picking up my '80 Rex tomorrow, and will soon be taking the Chevelle out of comission when the Rex is running.

for an audio setup, i have My Blaupunkt Headunit that i'm gonna steal from the Chevelle, and a set of 4" Infinity Kappas (to go in the door or kick panel) and i have a set of 3 way 6x9 Kappas that are in the Chevelle, but i dont wanna spend money to get 6.5" Kappas that would fit in the stock places in the Rex, so would i be able to put the 6x9's anywhere in the back?

and also good mounting places for my 75w RMSx4 amp? (for the individual speakers, no subs)

 

You can make some new covers for your rear compartments out of MDF cut 6x9 holes in them and cover them with whatever color carpet your interior is.Thats what I did and it turned out pretty good....It looks factory. As far as mounting the amp,put it IN the compartment ......Totally stealth

 

well, i'm not at all firmiliar with these cars... i'm seeing it for the first time tomorrow...
