I am contemplating purchasing some 3rd gen. door handles to mess with fitting on my Supra.

What commonly breaks on the handles? Can I take the handle apart and reinforce anything in it to prevent it from breaking? I found some at a local junk yard for $40. However, most of what I have read, people advise against buying a used door handle.

If someone has any pics of the internals of the handles or any broken handles they are willing to part with, please let me know.
