Any one ever done/seen this?

I was just wondering if anyone had ever painted/upholstered/resurfaced the plastic part of the dash (around the stereo,a/c controls, havoc lights, blower controls etc.) and center console to be the same tan color as the tan leather of the touring models, or the dark red color. I know people have done carbon fiber and painted it different colors, but has anyone done it in the tan color. I think it could look very nice and make it look more modern. If anyone has any pics of tan, or any other colors even, I'd like to see them. Thanks for the time, Evan

Alright, I'd love to see how it looks. It seems like the tan should carry over from the doors well

Has anyone ever done the entire dash in tan, or any other color?

from what i can tell it makes it look much more luxurious. Personally, I dont think that is what the FD is all about, but to each his/her own. good luck on the project if you decide to do it; sounds like a lot of work.

Thanks for the pic rotarynemesis. I think tan could look nice but its so hard to tell, I don't want to do it all and not like it later. I was thinking to do it two tone, like a ferrari interior. I would leave the glovebox and panel above it (airbag area in the 94+) Maybe mold the center console, put in a chrome gated shifter. Keep in mind, all of this could just as easily look stupid. Oh well I'll keep thinking about it all. Any more pics of that car with the tan dash, or any other cars?
