All that for $300 shipped from China
It should be obvious that would be a mistake, but I'm bored right now so...
If you do pick it up...
Don't expect much quality out of the display, or very silent operation of any of the moving mechanisms.
Quiet motors - CD motor, faceplate mech - and higher quality displays cost more. Laser defect tracking is most likely sub-par in another effort to get the price that low.
I've installed low end CD players that produce gear noise and skip when trying to read even *brand new* disks, even with the engine off and the car stationary. (Sony..ahem)
Of course you'd have to match the stock radio wires and this unit's because it doesn't come with a harness for your car. Judging from the pics, you're going to have to cut some metal from inside the radio slot to get this to fit. I installed/used to have a monitor in my FD, and it's a tight fit back there.
As an installer, especially for an RX-7 my recommendation is to spend a little more and get something with higher quality. I think you'd be happier with the end result of spending a little extra $$$.
In the end, I sold the monitor - and a lot of other peripherals - to a fellow RX7club member. I realized all I really needed is a CD player and a fine girl(s) - in the FD with me. And tuning by Steve Kan heheh.
Good luck with whatever you choose.
Hope this helps.
My apology for the long response. I had to get up at 5am this morning for a Verizon Wireless meeting. We never stop working....
