Alpine Headunit

Can anyone tell me what Alpine headunit that is on Steve Z's car in this thread. The headunit looks really good and has close to stock lighting.

Etronics is a very good outfit. I bought my 15" Alpine sub from them. Good stuff!

Most of the good alpine's have customizable button colours... you shuold be able to match the stock lighting with them...

How do you customize the button colors? Replace parts or can it be done through programming in the H/U? I just bought a 9853 H/U and want to change the button colors and can't figure out for the life of me how to do it.

TIA
Crispy

you cant change it on the 9853, I would know since i have the 53. Only the 9855 can change colors on the new 2005 models.

IMHO Alpie > Pioneer, I hear about way to many problems with pioneers.

every company has their entry level crap, and they're high end stuff

you can't say pioneer has good head units but shitty speakers

i personally think alpine > pioneer for head units simply because i don't care for all kinds of fancy screens and other crappy features that don't mean anything to the way it functions or sounds.
