alarm question.
hey guys, i have a question about my alarm.
first off i didnt think it worked, but i disconnected my battery and connected it again, my alarm went off. so i used the remote to turn it off, and to my amazement it turned off. Also with the remote it is capable of activating also. So now i know that the alarm works, but the problem is that when i start the car and drive it for a bit, and turn it off. i cant activate it or disarm it.
btw its a clifford alarm system

Hmmmm ... It could Be the power/ground wires comming from the battery(some installers grab the power off the key cylinder)Check those wires/terminals and fuse holders attached to the battery..............
the fuse holder gets loose rusted(the blades inside)

hey first off i want to thank you for your help in helping me with my alarm.
Now that my alarm works, i am able to arm it even after i drive. now i want to fix up my power central locks.
now, i know for a fact that my car has a power lock motor on my passenger side because when i took apart my door i saw a set huge batch of wires and it was connected all the way to under the steering wheel. not knowing what it was and was in a hurry to take off the door i snipped the wires... i know that was not smart but the damn door was heavy. anyways, the power lock motor is connected to a huge batch of wires and this batch of wires include a blue, green, red, white and brown. i know the only 2 wires i snipped was the green and blue wires. but now i have no clue where they belong but somewhere under the the steering wheel.
also can you tell me what the red, brown, and white wire do/go?
thanks a lot, sorry for the long read
edit: also its possible to put the wires back together with electrical tape or something even if i snipped it?
