Aftermarket stereo deck with Bose stereo - compatibility issues?
Aftermarket stereo deck with Bose stereo - compatibility issues?
My bose stereo died
Instead of trying to send it somewhere to get it fixed and end up paying more than a new deck anyways, I bought a nice CD/MP3 deck. Is there anything I need besides a basic mounting kit?
Ive heard from a few different places that the whole stereo system would need to be rewired, because of the way the bose system is setup. I figured you RX-7 owners that know a bit about stereos (I dont really) would know the correct answer to this.
As of right now, I have whatever comes in the box that the stereo came in and thats all. Please let me know what else I would need and whether or not the rewiring thing is true or there are other ways to get the Bose speakers to work with an aftermarket deck.
