Aftermarket Seats for a 1990 T2?
I have done a Search and have been reading up on the seats i can use in my RX7 T2.
I have come down to the follwoing seats Recaro SPD,Recaro N-Joy or Corbeau Targa RS.
I just want to know which one is the best fit for me.
I have heard that the SPD is a bit to wide and catches the recline **** on the Trans Tunnel?,
The N-joy is to be honist a bit boring and and is very simalar to the Stock seats and would be a last resort.
Then we come to the Corbeau Targa's, these seats have a bit of a bad name as they tend to wear quit quickly but they are quite thin and with a bit of playing with the mounts fit quite well?
So saying all that has anyone atualy used any of these seats? how do you rate them for Comfort and ease of fitting?(if you have any pictures of them fitted that would be very useful)
Thanks......Chris

It's hard to ask people for opinions on seats since it really comes down to personal preference. Depends on how big you are, tall you are, etc etc. Best thing to do is just go sit in each one and see what you think feels the best.
Personally looks wise, the SPD's look great, and you can get a used pair off of a Type R for really cheap prices. And most of the time they are in mint condition anyway.
Great bang for the buck if you ask me.
If you sat in one before, you think it is comfortable, I'd go with the SPDs.
I'm not sure how it would fit in the FC, I'm pretty sure you can buy railings from Recaro that will fit on your FC.
hope this helps.

I have the Corbeau's and they just fade easily if you don't have tinted windows. Don't use their sliders and convert the seat to the stock ones. Save yourself some money since their sliders suck. But those seats have great support and are great for the auto-X and long trips. TX to FL.
