Does anyone make after market hoods that are NOT CF? I really like Seibon's ST-style carbon fiber hood, but I'm not sure that I want to go CF. (Don't want to deal with it cracking/chiping.) Thanks for any advice.

One of the banners that come up at the top of the pages has a vendor who has all of the aftermarket styles in fiberglass. Reasonable prices to, IIRC they were around $350-$500 depending on the style.

 

sup devil nice 7! I just got mine out here in japan and it came with CF and i wish it didn't one good thing though is that it is a vented hood which helps A LOT with the heat problems that 7's have. the only recommendation i have is to get a vented hood. you can see mine at the link below...

why not just paint the CF?

 

so there are no after market aluminum hoods?

 

^ no at least I've never seen any. Some people have modified their OEM hoods to have vents that's the closest thing.

 

I have seen a few out here in Japo land but have no idea where to find one in the states
