adding speakers to bose system ?'s

I'm planning to add a pair of regular speakers behind the seats to my bose system. I already have a head unit hooked up.

I was jsut wondering is there any kind of speaker enclosure that the stock non-bose speakers use? or do I just need the base model brackets?

Thanks for the help.

I dont't really know what the size for the enclosers would be to convert over from the bose pocket things to the non-bose rear speakers. I do know that the rear speaker size is a 5x7 if that helps you some on that part.

so there are speaker enclosures that the non-bose system rear speakers bolt up to? or are there jsut brackets to hold the speakers in placeback there? Thats all I'm trying to figure out really. I tihnk I got everything else figured out.

I think they just mount up and thats really it, again I am not for sure on that, but the ones I used in my car still used the stock grils and all too. I know for you sence your using them on the bose set up you'll end up going with diff. grils I would guess.

I'm thinkin some eclipse 6x9 or 5x7. Whichever size fits better.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out whenever I get around to doing it.

Do you mean add regular speakers while using the factory bose head unit? If so this can be done (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong), but you'll need an amplifer to drive those added speakers. I believe you can use one of these to add an amp to the factory system. http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...=0&cc=01&avf=N or something similar to add an amp to they system.....I think.
