99 spec pop-up HID conversion??

Is it possible for making the pop up light looks like the ones in 99 spec with HID? How much will this conversion cost? I don't like the sleek light, but i like the 99 spec light so much.

Thanks ^_^

you could always just take the stock housing and custom mount an HID projector in it, that'll look great.

All of that crap is insanely expensive. I'll pass, thanks

I have the HID low beam only HIDs in my FD, and love them. Do a search under my username and HID to find the thread with pics.

ops...my bad~
since i saw a pic of 99-spec RX-7 with two small round light in the each pop up housing instead of the original one. So i thought there is a model with that kind of light. I also checked with the Knightsport one. That wasn't the one I saw in the pic =T I lost that pic... omg...so does anyone get any idea of what i am talking about? haha....

Are you sure it wasn't this? The East Bear kit bulges out so much it can be mistaken for pop-ups

yeah, the only reason I had those lights in my bumper was because I lost my high-beams with the kit and those lights were suppose to be the high-beam replacements.

Damn thats bright. I'd like to see a projection picture if you could get one. It'd be nice to see where that much light goes.

I no longer have the lights in the bumper so I can just get a headlight shot if you give me a day or two.

I'll be waiting......

Seriously though, i've been thinking of doin this myself and i always thought it would be too much light, and i've never seen a shot of what they look like from the drivers view. They look great though from the front.

idk, to my god honest opinion, i love the 99 spec front with the flip up lights, HOWEVER, only when its down.. when its up, it looks weird.. in that case, just drive the car in the daytime only hahahaha

i cant stand most afternarket headlight replacements..
