they're, somewhat incorrectly, referred to on here as '99-spec' wings - a search using that term will provide results.

It looks kind of similar to the stock r1/r2 wings except that it only uses the inside mounting points and does not bend down on the ends. Its somewhat hard to explain. It has only 2 uprights in the middle and flairs out on the ends (not up) instead of down like the r1/r2's.

Do you mean the '96-98 one that looks similar to the WRX wings?

You mean the '96-'99 eFini/RZ spoiler? I just picked one up actually from JT-Imports (when ahead and bought because he was closing...thanks JT!). I couldn't find a USA dealer that carried these but I'm sure there are some dealers if I looked hard enough maybe.

It's black but will be painted to match the CYM. Just chose random color (black preferred) because it was never made in CYM colors though I seen Japan had the Sunburst Yellow models with it. I included links to give idea how it looks on a yellow FD. And don't worry guys, the CYM will still remain close to stock and not abused - I just wanted the eFini wing and badges for exterior look only.

Screw you guys, I'm going home.

Sometimes I wish I had left mine spoiler less, but I get over it.

I like the spoilerless look as well. If I were to choose between the regular fd and 99spec spoiler I would go the norm.

i like that wing. i think its more agressive then the 93-95 but not as extreme as the 99 spec ones. anyways i think it matches well

Not to go off topic but what hood is that? I really like it.

The 7 series wing is nice but everytime I see it I just feel as if it is out of place... although I am a wingless type person so maybe its just me. I like the series 8 (99 spec) wing but after much debate in my mind I still decided against it for my car.

96-98 spoiler goes really well with some FDs, when I bought my FD I wasnt all that into it, so I sold it, but later I saw an FD with the same spoiler that it looked great on.

Its all about style and which one you want not what other people want, its your car.

Some FDs look good with 99spec, some dont
Some FDs look good with 98spec, some dont
Some look good wingless and some really dont......

and so on....
