6 x 9's to be installed!

Just got the new car, 89 gxl, what is your guys opinion on the best way to install 6 x 9's in the back instead of the factory 6.5's. i think i will put them in a custom enclusre and mount them over where the stock speakers sit right now. any suggestions?

I took some 1/4in aluminum and cut it to the shape of the speaker tower, then cut the new speaker hole in that. Then took dynamat or whatever the hell that crap is called and layered it between the speaker tower and the plate, and the plate and the speaker. There is probably better ways of doing it, but it sounds good to me and I dont have any problems with it.

Some others would probably recommend using fiberglass, but I had spare aluminum
