I'm considering the idea of mounting a 6" JL subwoofer in each of the storage compartments. The idea is to remove the lid and replace it with a sealed box of .175 cu. ft. and power both of them with a JL250 amp. hidden behind the luggage compartment panel. I heard them yesterday and was impressed by how good they were for their size compared to a single 10" JL. They're the only subs I've found which would fit in the storage spaces with a sealed enclosure. Has anyone done anything similar? Any advice on install? The head unit is a Sony 610, front and rears are Boston Acoustics, which I may upgrade to Quart at a later time.
