4 channel amp setup

im thinking of buying a 4 - channel profile amp from crutchfield and i was wondering if i can run my components off the first two channels then bridge the sub on the last two?

Also what is difference between 75W X4 at 4 ohms and 125W X 4 at 2 ohms. Im not a stereo expert so if somone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated.

1-Yes u can, my amp is running the same way. And, using two of those channels as front and the other as rear, u can us the front/rear fader to get a good balance of sound.

2-The smaller the load the amp sees from the speaker, the more power it will put out.

rxtasy3, I'm not sure if you have the same amp, but if not...make sure the profile thing is bridgable. Not all amps can be run into two ohms or bridged, etc.

Does this amp ur getting have instructions? If so, just look at those, should help alot.

The 2 RCA outs on the amp r probably just outputs to piggy back to another amp.

U may also have to use "Y" adapters for ur 2 rca's from the radio to the 4 rca's into the amp.

Your Pioneer prolly has a minimum of 2 SETS of RCA preouts, Front and Rear, if it is a pioneer premier, then it will have 3 sets, Front, Rear, and Sub.

Only the really old Pioneers have 1 set of preouts
