Question 3rd Gen Interior?

Hey guys,
Never been in the interior section before but I have a question. Looking around on the forum people area raping other people imo with the prices they are charging for interiors that are 10 years old. I have a 3rd Gen with a tan interior and leather. Any ideas on a good way to do it that wont cost a fortune or look like ****. The car isnt my daily driver so it wont get a lot of wear but i also dont want to have to repaint in 6 months either.

Thanks,
Mike

Question

What exactly do you need done? Repainting the panels? New seats or seat covers? New carpet? Do you just want to update the look?

I am really looking to get the interior all black. Right now it has tan carpet, seats, and bins.

I'm in the process of having my seats recovered in two-tone black leather/gray ultrasuede, and getting black carpet. I too have tan seats and tan carpet.

If I beat you to the punch on price, I'll try and remember to post pics and some $$ figures when I get done. Ultrasuede should be in by end-of-week here, so I'm thinking I'll be setup in a week or two.

Nope. But I remember someone on here finding some. Also, try PMing gmonsen for some answers. That guy has completely redone *everything* and he knows where most materials can be had.

Try here:

Yeah, if you look at the gmonsen interior post, it shows pics of his carpet and a description. Basicially its custom cut individual carpet (instead of the floor pan mold like factory) mercedes grade for $800. The shop that has the pattern and can do other fabrics for less telephone number is: (610-559-1750)

They can do less expensive grades of carpet for less.
