I just purchased a 12" Kicker Solo Baric L7 and a sony cdx mp80 head unit...i plan to install this in my 1986 Rx-7 but i wondering will it be too much or maybe there is something i need to do to prep for the huge vibration from the kicker...if someone could give me some feed back on this set up i would greatly appreciate it.

 

dynamat always does the job. and yes the kicker will rattle your car because they are just that badass.

 

The only things that rattled in my car were the hatch and passenger mirror... its really not that bad unless your car is beat to ****

 

since we're talking about rattling from a sub, i have a question, will the JL12W6 rattle bigtime like his will? or more? less? anyone who has this sub, i'd like some input, oh ya and i have an 88 GTU

 

I have a JL10W6 and it makes my speaker tower plastic pieces buzz a little bit, but nothing too bad...everything's pretty secure, i can live with it and I haven't needed any sound dampening
