Ive heard that theyre decent subs, you just gotta run lots of juice to em to make em sound good. I could be wrong and thinking of something else.

They are One of the BEST SUBS around. A 10" puts out as much as a round 12". Require Very little space,
(like .66 Cubic feet) to Rock your world.

They DO NEED LOTS OF JUICE. Otherwise, they sound just "OK".

I have a 12" one in a Bandpass in my S'CREW, and it
Makes your hair stand up from a distance..

I used to run the older SoloBaric in one of my other cars and yea those things hit hard. The 10s go as low as most normal 12s. BUT you do need to have a lot power going to them. I used to run HiFonics for my dedicated sub amp. Awsome power maybe not the best amp for distortion but hey it was a sub amp only. I used all a/d/s amps and speakers for everything else.

I remember about 6 years ago going to a junkyared and seeing a fresh SC tbird there, I seen these pretty RCA's sticking out of the dash and I though what the hell. It was a rear ended car, I cut the trunk open, and bam there was an A/D/S 2 ch and a A/D/S 4 ch amp. A all smashed up sub box with smashed subs so I thought what the hell. I removed them, then I removed the door panels and BAM MB Quart 6 1/2 and tweet set. I was like jack pot. Only thing they got out of this car was the headunit I eventually rounded my extravaganza off with an old alpine 8040 alarm... Well to make a long story short this dude at the counter had no clue what i had in the box, and he said $50 and I was shaking to get to my wallet that fast... And all the **** worked 100%, I still have the A/D/S 4 ch in my 85

well if i had the space i would say screw the l7's,

even at that price of $300.00 for 1 12"
so $600.00 for 2

do you know what i can get for $600.00???

i could get 12 12" volfenhags
or 12 12" performance tekniques

there both basically the same,

14 lb magnet
one piece spun aluminum cone
dual voice coils
1,000 watt handleing

2 L7's dont have **** on 12 12" volfs
or even 4 for that matter

but then again who has the space?
power,and power

as in alternator power and amp power

with 12 12" speaker you could add as many as 12 2 channel 2 ohm stable amps and suck every bit of juice they could throw out,

emmm 12,000 watts of pure power
6,000 of the cleanest watts you ever heard

ohh i cant breath must stop typing

Uh V8kilr I belive its trying to get get power from a small space, kinda like the rotary engine.
12 12" subs in a RX-7, hahahaha, that would help the 1/4 mile times!
and talk about handling at the AutoX.

Hmmm. I've been trying to decide on a new woofer(s) for my FD. I listen to music like Static X,Drowning Pool, Mudvayne,Saliva, POD, Godsmack. Would you guys recommend just single woofer, like a 15" L7??? Sorry guys, I'm a noob to audio.
