wassup people.
ok i been searching for shift **** for my FD and i cant really find right one for me.

i want something like stock looking but little bit smaller.
And i dont like stainless one's or carbonfiber.
yea, so something that looks more stock but smaller...

can anyone please give me good website or post some pictures of it??

The stock one is actually pretty small. You aren't going to do much smaller with the same design and in leather. You'd be better off going with a short shift kit and using the stock ****.

 

dont they have 6speed marks on it?? .. if it has rotor on top, that be siccck.
and where can i find them??

The pettit one is perfect for what you are describing. You have to cut 1/2 inch of the threads on the stock shifter to make it fit, but its a really high quality ****. Here's a pic of it in my car, not the best, but you can get the point.

rx8's come in both 5 and 6 speed so just order the 5 speed one from mazda if you do

i know what you mean but i think with them being so new the only place you will get them is the dealer. i remember reading that they're around $150 (ouch)...

I am pretty sure all of the manual rx8s are 6 speed. I thought the autos came with a 4spd but i guess it could be 5.

well that may explain it, in the uk we dont get any manual rx8s, only two different powered manual, the lower powered one is a 5-speed the higher is a 6-speed, so you could always get the **** imported from japan as they're bound to have it if you cant get it in the US

 

JTimports has the 5-speed RX8 ****, very expensive but cool. I like my leather mazdaspeed **** from corksport but it is taller than the original.
