^ Because they are irrelevant to the forum's main topic (RX7's) and post count is there to show your contributions to the forum.
Mods correct me if I'm wrong.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Also there are some sections (such as the lounge) that may get a single member posting 50 posts a day, and none of them have anything to do with anything.
Since many people (wrongly) associate a large post count with either a large E ***** or someone that actually has contributed to the forum, it makes no sense to reward them for just making a bunch of useless posts in a non technical section.

We actually need to review this and change the regional sections to NOT count towards it. We have members with 6K+ posts and all they do is spam in the regional sections. Mainly the damned SoCal tards.

So if i don't have a rotary yet, and want to ask people questions through pm but it requires me to have a post count of 3 or higher but i feel like there's nothing i can contribute toe the "technical" or "new members" forums how am i suppose to up my post count w/o posting useless crap so i can ask people questions on PM or inquire about parts and tuning and such?
