Question about posting pics using only forum

I'd like to post some pics in a thread to help explain my problem and I would like to do it w/out using photobucket or something else. I know I've seen some instructions somewhere but can't seem to find them right now. Any help out there? Links to threads would be great.
Thanks.

Under the reply text box you click on "Go Adavnced" and then the screen will change and then there is a button that says something like "Manage Attachments" and then you can select the pics you want and add them. Max of 5 per pst and 100Kb max file size for a jpg. It will tell you max size for the others.

You can directly upload them if you have a link to such a photo.

Simply type in

OR Thanks!

I haven't had the chance to jack up the car and take some photos of a dented (not by me!) oil pan, but your replies have pointed out how easy it is! Thank you! Just one more great aspect of this site; an easy user-friendly way to post pics.

All the forums I belong to have it. And all the forums I have been on in the past that are on longer around have had it. Must be the software on the other forum's you have been on.

The only problem with the attachment feature is it's limited to a certain size depending on the file/document. But the majority of attachments are jpeg's or gif's. If something is over 200k, that's a pretty big file.

Use a photo editing program, or use photobucket.com to host the pictures for you.

I set my camera's pic size to SQ2, it's an Olympus. This setting is the smallest pic size the camera takes and meets the size limits for posting here.
