I asked for blinking lights and Hooters Girls to greet you and give New Guys beer and guide them around, but the owners said it would put them over budget.

I'll bring this up again in the Next election..vote for me!..lol!

I admit I had a little trouble with the number of regulations involved with the intro and initial posts. I tried 2 intro posts, each time realizing that I left a requirement out. I think I'm just burnt from a long day. I hope it doesn't look like I was trying to increase post counts with 3 intro emails!

I "will" allow all THREE if you send me a pony..
But since you may find that hard to do,I'll just delete the extra...done.Toast.

If you have to ask then you did not read the rules thoroughly.

We have a LARGE base of membership,so along with that comes people flocking in here to sign up,sell Crap and take your money..and Leave.
You want to deal with honest people then you deal with the rules and go about the forum Honestly,as everyone should.
Bypass the rules and it means you do not care about the Forum or it's members,so really it's a TEST.
Can you pass it?

We could post "FREE BEER IF YOU READ THE RULES" but I can tell you I would be left holding a lot of beer.
The post count theology is to deter Fly by night transactions and try to have members see that the Forum is a functioning machine in itself.Trying to keep the bad out and the GOOD going strong..within the confines of the club.
If you can follow the rules you can easily get around the Forum..simple..

Funny that you can put up a big sign saying READ BEFORE POSTING and still someone goes "why can't I post?".
I dunno..did you wipe before you pooped?.ah..there's the problem, right there.

You can post in the Regional Forums.
BUT your Intro is showing as you did NOT conform to the Rules and Tried to BUY something in your Intro.
So,..didn't conform to rules..NO approved Intro...simple as that.

I didnt try to buy anything in my intro. If you guys actually took the time to read my intro COMPLETELY it said that ...and i quote.. ""there are FC's on craigslist around 500 OBO.."" I did read the rules!

not only that my questions wasnt COMPLETELY answered... so let me try again .... Now that my intro thread wasnt approved.. what does that mean? and what does an approved intro thread let you do?

As you can tell, not only me but multiple members are frustrated with this system. i AGREE that this system reduces the people that rip off others on classified ads..but use that restriction to limit post in classified sections...not throughout 75% of the forum.. "lighten" up the limitations so-to-speak

What is the screen name of the site owner?

Just my .02$

Thank you
Alex

I put some effort into my other attempt in posting an intro thread... that should follow the rules 100%..

If you could approve that , that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
A;ex

i think the lounge is a separate entity altogether and need something like 50 posts to get access. and as for the "i just want to post in the buy/sell...", if that's all ur here for with nothing to add to the forum, i suggest sticking with ur local classified ads or craigslist. this site is a wealth of info for those passionate bout rotaries whether just learning or seasoned vets with knowledge to share. i remember there was one member that came here just to sell a car.

I said I can post in classifieds and such.. since that is one of the first restrictions, I used that as an example...

Obviously Im here for more than classifieds ( if you look at my posting history) for the fact im tryin to post into the Lounge?!

P.S. You quoting "i just want to post in the buy/sell..." Is something I never directly said..-_- Jeez Pay attention LAD

Anyways besides that nonsense ..... i did talk to a mod and it is 50 post which is just fine with me!

Have a great day there bud!
