PA My thoughts on the forum so far

Glad I took the time to read the how to use the forum section. This place is quite a bit larger than most of the forums i am used to dealing with and frankly can be a bit overwhelming. Thanks for all of the write ups on how to search the forums, I will most definitely be using that to my advantage.

I cant wait to join the NE rotary guys, after all it is lovely to have fellow enthusiasts in the area.

..and No offense to you Mac,this is to point out to all new guys,if you start at the TOP of the INTRO SECTION and work your way down you will have no excuses.
Just 2 threads up there give you the capability to get NINE posts.
The HOW TO ENTER the Forum in 3 Easy steps
and the GREETING NEW MEMBERS thread.
(remember any double posting guys and It won't be a "welcome PM" that you get.)

My biggest gripe is that I have to have 10 posts before I can post anything. Kinda a catch-22 going on here. haha

My biggest gripe is that Rules are Posted at the Top of the Intro section that can gain you NINE Posts easily and still someone complains that they can't think of ONE thing to say. They are stuck.
If that is the case then wouldn't their post count stay at NINE,all the time??..
How will they ask a question?,start a thread, reply to a thread,Make a Compliant about the Minimum post count?..
Like IKEA furniture, you really does pay to read the Instructions before hand..
..and the club does have a nice comfy atmosphere with lots of members..So I think some people have figured it out.
(maybe you too?you now have 16..)

yeah the post limit is a bit silly but I think it really got me going around the introduction forums meeting people, so it worked out I guess

This is a new forum environment for me as well. I like how you are forced to read and reply through the forum. It gets you more involved in the site and it will keep the tire kickers away. I am only 2 posts in now and trying to reach enough to be fully active and see the things I want to see and post in spots I want to post.

The new forum member info is ok but it would be much nicer to be open to the whole forum easier. The activity isn't busy enough to accumulate the needed post count in a day.

.Nice going though!!.

GUYS!:
You can thank this member for just having shown you the MAIN Reason for a Minimum post count to access other sections!!

Did It help at all?The info that he posted?.
Is his Concurrence a proclamation that this Subject is OK for his approval?

Honestly, Tell me Guys, how would you like this to happen to you?...to get a Reply such as this posted in your thread?
You want to find out of your engine is low on compression and all of a sudden.."Ya Brah..I agree.".
..Exactly.
.The Minimum post count works.
.........Thread CLOSED.....

By the way I would usually Wipe the post "I concur" .It is called an Unnecessary post.(obviously)
But if I do that then it would not show to other members.
