How many posts to unlock all sections of the forum?
I'll sell you mine, red 93 touring, 90k miles on body, ~10k on rebuilt engine, trans and turbos, pretty much stock. Pm or email me at ryanaweyman@gmail.com if you're interested, no more post count worry lol
Ya I had the same question but I get your position, although I've been searching this site for 6 or 7 years and just recently actually joined.. So I kinda feel like a longer time member. Just don't feel the need to post much due to the fact that for most questions the forum "vets" on here have already posted plenty of relevant info, all u need to do is spend some time researching...
I like how Rx7club has the post count requirements. I hate going to forums and just seeing spammers and people who don't really care about the community. It also makes people get out of there shells and become social.
I always kind of had a problem with this sort of thing. I completely understand the reasons for it but I was always kind of the quiet guy lol. Always listening and learning from the more experienced members. So it was always hard for me to make productive posts but I'm trying
Over the years I've had many cars, but it is only in the past ten or so that the Internet tempted me with this sort of discussion locale. And is there a variety!
Without posting names: one auto marque's forum (US) is full of nasty comments - insults even for uninformed queries. Another is just technical (US) but respectful. Another (Italian) is an absolute pleasure to surf even if one does not have a question at that time; people talk about all things interesting, not only automotive.
I have yet to guage this one, and admittedly this is due to my non familiarity though I have visited it for a long time before registering. The organization and seeming compartimentalization (gen; series ...) makes it hard to simply cruise for enjoyment. And the post requirements make me think of speed bumps; it is assumed that I am going to spam even though I know it's wrong.
As the Sgt fears, I am indeed here this time to show off a glorious 90 GTU that I've had for 16 years and that now I'd like to see in the hands of an afficionado. So, I will persevere and jump through the hoops ... !

why would u even bother with the lounge. posts there don't count.
I get the purpose of security to keep spammers and bad members out, however there are a lot of us "good people" who are lurking, just looking for info, or looking to make a car/parts purchase.
Also, I'm new to rx7's, so I don't have a lot to contribute. I'm here to research and buy a car, but I can't look at cars for sale in my local region

I understand it but man coming up with 5 post's is harder then it looks when your told to use the search function and find your answer but can't ask a follow up question. or hook up with the locals. post 1 down 2 to go maybe I'll get them in tonight.
Well, I was pleased to have 10 under my belt last week, have photos on Photobucket and read the instructions on this site, but now find I need 15. I do think this is the place to get this beaut of a GTU into a rotaryhead's hands, but it certainly is more complicated than the run of the mill auction places! Hope this counts toward eventual success ...
very interesting, although when there are threads helping you to up your post count by pretty much typing "read it" maybe the post count to view the rest of the site should just start at 5 instead
... I did read all the info tho and it was very helpful :P

posting reply threads does increase your post count, i guess a very smart way to get rid of spam and filter members who are actually interested and not a pc sending mass spam ;]]
