Cannot see classifieds
Still can’t see classifieds, 5 posts in. Been a member for years but didn’t contribute.
I have to view the classifieds as a guest, go to their profile, log in and PM. It’s redundant. I’m a serious buyer, so it’s just making the process a little painful.
When i I log in the classifieds forums disappear.

I just registered today and noticed the same issue. I don't recall encountering another forum that doesn't allow you to see classifieds.
Good luck and let me know if you find a solution.

Firstly - both of you - welcome to the forum!
There is a minimum post count required before you can interact on the classifieds section (ten). Reason being to keep the forum an active exchange of advice and ideas between like minded people, rather than just a mini Ebay........ You can read up on all the site rules etc here: https://www.rx7club.com/how-use-site-255/ and here: https://www.rx7club.com/faq.php
Specifically for the classifieds: https://www.rx7club.com/faq.php?faq=..._section_rules
General gist is to interact with others, offer help/insight where you can and get involved. Please avoid the one line "your car is cool" etc just to get your posts count up. Read some threads and comment on some builds and other things you are interested in, or can offer advice on. Your post count will climb to the 10 post minimum in no time at all then you can access the classifieds

Making 10 legitimate posts here on this site isn't a tall ask. If anyone needs any help, feel free to PM me

You'd be surprised. I was trying to sell my NB Miata and on the biggest Miata forum in the world, i needed 200 (yes, TWO HUNDRED) posts to be able to sell the car online. Orrrrrr I had to pay like $35 for the privilege.

But to be fair to the previous poster, the point was not selling cars but rather not being able to even view the classifieds. I am quite sure the biggest Miata forum in the world lets people view the classified without even registering. It is possible that we are talking about two different site, and if so my apologies!
I am sure you have legitimate reasons for not letting people view the classified without registering or low post count, but what is the harm in letting people window shop the cars available for sale?
I've routinely window shopped classified on other forums to get an idea of the selling price. This helps me get a quick idea if I can afford a particular car.

We'll get there, the only problem is you get a bunch of threads like these where all us new guys just dribble nonsense to get the post count up. Posting in the classifieds is one thing but just to look? Man...

It also hurts longtime members who are trying to sell items in the classifieds section by excluding potential buyers.
Think of all the items in the classifieds sections that are not RX-specific.
If you are looking for a universal part (wheels, brakes, injectors, pumps, audio, lighting, etc etc) then chances are you are looking at more than one forum.

It's definitely annoying. Member since March 2016 but didn't even know there was a classified section. My buddy found the part I was looking for in 10 seconds because he had access to the classified section.

I'm not going to lie, it is pretty frustrating that I was unable to view the classifieds all of a sudden. I have been browsing for years but never pulled the trigger, but now I'm in a place where I am able to. Just have to find the right car. If I was an old member with a car for sale (or planned to sell one any time in the future) I would be mad, as many people won't actually go through the steps necessary to see them. That equals thousands less views for the item they have for sale and the only benefit is that it gets a small percentage of people to sign up...
