wont start

done installing my haltech. it cranks and will not start. a couple things for you to help me:
- it displays RPM in the haltech program
- the injectors are firing and the right plugs are on the right injector
- it has spark
- disabling the fuel pump to unflood it does nothing
- it doesnt even try to start, just cranks and cranks
- i was playing with the primer map and got it to backfire a little bit while trying to start
-the CAS lines up fine, and pulley mark. i did the "stock" mazda install
-i tried 2 or 3 different maps

so it has fuel and spark but it wont start. i was thinking maybe the pulley isnt on in the right spot, seeing how this is a fresh rebuild and maybe the pulley was just put on, not in the RIGHT spot. other than this idea i dont know what else to do. anyone have any input or ideas?

What is your engine combination, what maps did you use, and what fuel pump/regulator/pressure do you have set?

well i just learned the pulley can only go on one way. so it has to be a flooding issue???? or not enough fuel? will anything else factor into it?

sorry if my posts are kind of awkward, but posting in my own thread is kind of a part of my thought process.....
