weird rpm problem

I hooked up an E6X to my 13BT and I got it to idle well. However, it picks up the tach signal great except for the range between 2300 and 2500.. During that time it jumps to something like 12000 RPM in software and the tach will flutter about 100 rpm. I'm using the 2.5 BAR internal map sensor, stock crank, turbo, 2x550 cc and 2x780 cc injectors. During this time my wideband reads about 12.5-13.5. Could it be a bad CAS or.... Any ideas would be great. Thanks

I figured this problem out. I had a vac leak that was causing a problem with the map picking up the load.
