Using the Aux. In on the Haltech or the Spare Input function, you could datalog the voltage, you have to know what the caracteristics of it are, is it 0-5v or 0-12v. And configure the input accordingly. Please note, that you will have to use your gauge to determine what each voltage reading means in temp terms.

Good luck.

What would be a good gauge to buy for this?

I actually mentioned using the Aux. In for logging this sort of thing, i was wrong. You have to use the Spare A/D inputs, thats what they are for, the Aux. In is just a switched input so you tell the ECU do something, either on or off.

Anyway, this shouldnt be too hard to do, the problem is just figuring out Vs relation to what you are messuring.

Most of the latest Autometer gauges have an output for datalogging. I've seen the fuel pressure gauge with this fetaure. The new Haltechs E8/11 got a number of spare A/D inputs some of which you can actualy configure a pressure gauge to be datalogged by press vs voltage.

Only thing that bites is I use the spare AD for my wideband....guess I can switch em back n forth or use the O2 sensor input and switch it to 0-5v.

I have this one:

http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/greddy_egt_gauges/

with the "non-peak hold"

Could a 0-5V signal be tapped off this somewhere?
