transient throttle settings are kicking my ***.

ok, so heres the issue im having.

when the engine is cold, at low rpm (idle), i give it 100% throttle and it bogs then revs fine. then, everything goes to **** when it comes up to temp. if i even gently press the throttle, it will just die, and once i start it up again, (i have no bac or idle control. on my e6x i would give it maybe 10% throttle and it would start up fine hot) i try and give it gas (even a gingerly feather touch) and it conks out and dies. is it my fuel map? i have fiddled with the transient throttle settings all over the place and used different maps from different people. and nothing seems to affect anything.

what is the issue i am having where i cant seem to figure this out? any tips? keep in mind im not engine tuning savvy so going all neckbeard nerd wizard with the lingo wont help.

what i want to know is, what portion do i change that makes the biggest change in that area where i am affected.

you need to set up a log and then record what is happening cold and hot
( search or read the manual if you dont know how to do that )

you need to log TPS ( i think its drifting ) , injector pulsewidth , rpm, coolant temp and load signal

you need to be sure the TPS is not drifting hot /cold/ electrical RFI --deadband width

this is critical for accel pump function timing ,, and it sounds very much like you have a fat as hell throttle pump setting already ,, and it dont work when warm when the bloody tps drifts
\

nothing to do with randomly changing anything,, work out what the issue is and fix it,, that is what the tps log is about

Thought I had a transient throttle setting problem. Turns out it was the TPS it self.

Found my problem by very slowly moving my throttle forward and watching my laptop tps percentage. I would move the throttle and the laptop would not show any movement. I am using a Nissan tps and had to remove the cover and secure the moving parts so when the throttle was moved ever so slightly the laptop showed movement. my transient throttle problem was fixed.

i used BDC's map and it has been almost dead on. Aside from havuing to turn pulswidths down for secondaries. (he has 1200's i have 1600's) It will go lean for about half a second when i first give it gas. after that it slides back into the right AFR's. are you running a wideband? log o-2's and tps together?

some times i also lean out right at about 0-2 psi while im holding it there. im assuming thats just a staging problem.
