Can anybody tell me what colors coming from the S5 TPS I am supposed to use. So far the damn shop keeps sending me the wrong info. Nothing he has sent matches the colors coming from the TPS. I have a feeling he is sending me the engine harness colors but I don't have the engine harness anymore as this is a clean install into a SA body.

This damn TPS is the only thing I have left to hook up and I can't seem to get the answer I need.

4th post in that thread has the pinout. The diagram references the harness side connector from the back of the connector with the lock tab at the top.

It's a shame you guys continue to purchase things from shops that fail to properly support you. Wish there was someone who had been a Haltech dealer for over ten years, continually supported the rotary community, and knew what they were doing...

 

Ok so by looking at this that would mean the Haltech would be using the outside TPS when its mounted on the throttle body correct? If that is the case I think I messed up mine as I thought it was the inside TPS that is used and removed the part on the throttle linkage in order to hook up my manual oil injection.

I wished I had known this seller of the Sprint RE wasn't going to be able to help me out when I needed it LOL. Oh well live and learn.


Oh wait you said looking at the back of the harness plug. Then that puts me back to where I was as I pulled the wires out of the plug and now forgot which color wire was where in the TPS plug. Damn are you able to still help. Thats what I get for jumping the gun.

 

Nevermind I finally got my answer
