Too much fuel

Hey guys,

I just installed a Haltech E8 in my '89 J-spec FC.

I been looking around for a base map to get me going but i cant seem to find anything suitable...

I think my biggest problem is that im running 4 x 910cc injectors

All the base maps i see around are like, 550/550 stock or 550/1600 etc...

I've tried these maps but im WAY to rich at idle and low revs, i can smell soooo much unburnt fuel out the exhaust.

If anyone got a map thats around the mark id love to here from ya!

Here are my vitals;

Haltech E8
Jap 89 FC turbo
Mild/Extend port
Stock ignition
910cc injectors all round
3inch exhaust all the way
stock turbo and IC

The car runs and the timming is set and locked. I need to get rid of some fuel so i can get a smother idle.

thanx dudes!

Why can't you adjust the fuel out?

Just pull the difference by %

If your injectors are 2X larger then the base map, take 50% out of the base map, should be close. Obviously you'll want to tune it up afterwards, but just do a little math and change it to suit your needs.

Almost There!

Ok guys,

I dropped my very rich settings to 'mildly' rich

The beast runs much better, my idle is a bit high still, but the thing revs freely to 3500rpm. i wont push it any further until i sort out my latest issue....

i re-checked my timing on L1 and its spot on -5, and T2 is at -20 (all good).

but when i stick my timing light on L2, the timing is like way off, not even on the pully

i thought L1 and L2 fire together, so L2 should be at -5 too? or am i just being stupid?!

i checked my CAS and Coils wiring everything is a ok, i also made sure my CAS was inserted correctly.

any ideas?
